Rod Cusic, an artist residing in Los Angeles, has been deeply engaged with art as his preferred medium of self-expression throughout his life. Influenced profoundly by the artist and inventor Leonardo DaVinci, Cusic is committed to crafting Fine Art paintings that are not only original in composition but also rich in storytelling.

His current focus is on the Cosmic Series, a collection deeply rooted in his fascination with cosmic science. This interest stems from his admiration for those who champion truth, particularly within the scientific community, and their work surrounding Einstein’s theories in theoretical physics. Einstein’s contributions, which have stood the rigorous tests and scrutiny of the world's leading scientists for over a century, serve as a significant inspiration for Cusic.

In his Cosmic Series, Cusic endeavors to translate Einstein’s cosmic perspective into his art. This series, under the umbrella of IMPRESSIONISM, is designed to weave rich, compelling narratives through photoluminescence artwork. The series features exotic events and objects that span various themes, such as Energy, Matter, Quantum, SpaceTime, and Scapes. These themes are not just artistic choices but are reflective of Cusic's deep-seated respect for the scientific truths that have shaped our understanding of the universe.

Cusic's journey in art has seen a significant shift from a traditional focus on figures and landscapes to an innovative use of Photoluminescence materials. This transition highlights his evolution as an artist and his willingness to embrace new techniques and mediums. Combining his expertise in art and engineering, he is dedicated to conducting pioneering experiments in paint and lighting control. His aim is to master these techniques to create paintings that maintain their consistency and impact across various lighting conditions, including natural light, black light, and complete darkness.
